Book of Eli, 2010

Directed by Albert Hughes, Allen Hughes

Acted by Denzel Washington

-----------------

Bible was described as the most powerful and credential book in the human history. Bible binds people altogether and provide orders in the society. And that is why people in late 21 century who eagered to escape from the orders burned every pieces of scriptures. Interesting part was that Denzel Washington strongly believed that God would not let him die until he finishes his duty that was given by God. But I ask myself that how people can really dicern what is from God and what is from myself? In one perspective, it can be considered merely as a matter of faith. The other perspective is that solid faith is from God, if not, it could not be as firm as like that with a human will power. The last scene was dramatic either. Denzel was a blinded man which seems to be a leap of logic but that surely well described how the bible at the first time had been emerged. As we all know, bible was written by not humans thoughts but Holy Spirit and that can be said human with a loss of their own sights. Anyway, I think I should wathch it again in the future.
